About Our Makeup Courses:
Our makeup courses are run by professional makeup artists with years of experience and a vast knowledge of all aspects of makeup.
Our courses are suitable for beginners through to intermediate level budding MUA’s. There is always something new to learn about makeup and the hints and tips you will learn from our MUA’s will be invaluable.
We always encourage our students to try to attend day 1 of each week courses as this is the day when you will learn the basics of your introduction to makeup. We want all our budding MUA’s to have a good knowledge of:
•Health and safety
•Makeup artist etiquette
•Hygiene
•Brushes
You will learn our techniques of base application including how to contour and you will learn eyelash application. Once you have these basic skills you can progress onto all the different art forms of makeup.
There are so many things to learn about makeup and whether you are learning makeup for yourself or for a future career we can guarantee you will be taught the best way by the best teachers.
On The Courses We Will Cover:
We will also work with the group and focus on particular looks and/or techniques that they particularly want to work on.
All products and brushes are supplied but please feel free to bring your own if you wish.
We guarantee you will love learning on our courses, and this could be the start of a whole future and career in makeup.
Meet Our Course Leader...
Introducing Paula Hopwood, our head makeup artist and owner of Hustle.
Paula started work in the makeup industry over 30 years ago. She has worked for many makeup brands but branched off into interior design for a number of years. She returned to makeup over 5 years ago and launched her own company called Hustle.
Hustle provides a makeup service for every occasion. From bridal to prom, night-time glam looks to fashion portfolios, photo shoots, festivals, and dance makeup. Paula and her team travel all over the country providing makeup services at festivals and dance competitions and they take great pride in delivering a wonderful service.
Hustle has grown from strength to strength and Paula has her own line of multi-chrome pigments and glitters with more products launching soon. There is also Hustle merchandise available.
Paula teaches all styles of makeup and offers 1-1 tuition as well as classroom environment lessons. Her friendly, down to earth, and approachable outlook means taking her classes are always fun, informative and leave you wanting to learn more.
Paula and her team of MUA’s are really looking forward to sharing their knowledge with all those budding MUA’s and helping to shape a possible future in the makeup industry for anyone attending our courses.
