Junior Coach

We're recruiting for junior coaches who are looking for a fun part time job and that are keen to gain some experience in coaching sport and working with children.

Your Role Would Include:

  • Providing a safe and fun environment for the children to enjoy whilst at club.

  • Supporting our team to deliver different sessions of activities.

  • Being a positive role model for the children you coach.

  • Ensuring behaviour policies are followed.

  • Supporting the children where required.

  • Supporting other junior coaches where required.

*This is a self employed role for work during the school holidays.


  • Confident to coach a group of children alone or with a colleague.

  • Enhanced DBS already held or able to pass an enhanced DBS check.

  • Able to work as part of a team.

  • Able to deliver activities in a creative and exciting way.

  • Basic safeguarding knowledge but training will be provided.

  • Able to use initiative and make quick decisions.

  • Must be a good timekeeper.

  • Good organisation skills.

  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn.

  • A driving licence and access to a car is desirable but not essential.

  • Flexibility around work location and time.

  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
